[About]

Hello family and friends!

With the anticipation of moving to Los Angeles from Sacramento away from our closest family and friends, I have decided to start a blog as a means to have an extra way to be connected to those who are going to be over 350 miles away.

Currently, we are in the middle of a transition between our lovely Ashton Parc Apartment and Los Angeles, which is at our parents house. Yep, all our stuff is in storage, awaiting a day when we will load it all up into a U-haul and take it all the way down I-5 South and put it all out in our new home, which I will strive to make as comfortable, hospitable [because I expect some of you to visit me], and enjoyable as possible. I have so much to learn and most importantly I want to be a crown to my husband [Proverbs 12:4].

In the past two years, Vlad and I have built lots and lots of dreams, asking for wisdom from God and seeking advise from our closest friends and family, and for now, we know what we have to do; we know that we were meant to serve. Vlad is going to be getting a Master of Divinity Degree. In this program there are three areas of special emphasis: biblical understanding, personal growth, and professional preparation. With this training, if it is part of God's plan, Vlad will go on and Pastor! We know that as a couple we were not created to just receive our four year degrees in business, start our careers, buy our dream home in lovely familiar Sacramento, and be able to tell you exactly what's going to happen in the next 5-10 years in our life.

Instead, we are doing something that doesn't feel very comfortable at the moment. We are moving away from our very comfortable life; however, we are hoping to meet our new friends and some that will be as close as family. I know that we have our siblings in Christ down there who hopefully will want to grow with us there and call make Los Angeles our home and make it as comfortable as possible, for at least  the next 4 years. What will come later? Where are we going to be? We cannot exactly tell you, but this is a journey, a season through season in our life we will go through and strive to do what most glorifies our God.

"The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps." [Proverbs 16:9]
